Blackmilk Clothing Pintrest 18.08.2015 Review | ThatPaleGirl

So since blackmilk have been doing the weekly pintrest releases my bank balance goes down a lot faster than I planned! I’m glad to say after I accidentally brought something last week I do not want to own anything immediately from what I see from this weeks pintrest! I am glad ! I do however feel sorry for the girls who like these as we have a lot of limited and 24 hour pieces which is rather cruel of BM! BAD BM!!

here is the original Pintrest board : blackmilkpins-18.08.2015

Starlight Reversible Crop - LIMITED (WW $50AUD / US $45USD) or in £23.61
Starlight Cheerleader Skirt - LIMITED (WW $70AUD / US $56USD) or in £33.06

For both of these I find that the material looks like it will be sheer more the crop than the skirt of course. They also have chosen a great name for the fabric starlight is a beautiful name well done BM *claps

We Dare You Bodysuit - LIMITED (WW $99AUD / US $80USD) or in £46.75

Although I do love the front I absolutely hate the ties at the back as its so impractical and will be rather annoying. For me they would be anyways! It would look beautiful paired with the pvc skater skirt.

Velvet Mulled Wine High Waisted Leggings - LIMITED (WW $60AUD / US $48USD) or in £28.33

Where can you go wrong with these leggings! The colour, the feel of velvet, the colour ! must I continue ?

Gamer Pink Slouchy - LIMITED (WW $150AUD / US $120USD) or in £70.84

I do like the gamer print I am not too keen on the BRIGHT PINK in your face kinda look. well I guess I personally am more subtle with my looks of black and umm black. I am glad that they are doing a slouchy and I look forward to the blue one BM!

Fairy Book Play Dress (WW 24HR $85AUD / US - LIMITED $68USD) or in £40.14

Although this print is busy I really love the design and the subtle watercolour’s on the design, Im not sure outright on if this print would suit my style or body shape. So sadly I wouldnt be purchasing it and waiting for all the selfies on instagram to arrive.

Take the Bait HWMF Leggings (WW 24HR $75AUD / US - LIMITED $60USD) or in £35.42

These to me are far too busy, cute but theres so much going on your not sure on where to look. I think they would have been better as shorties as with the legs you seem to be lost in a confused dazed moment.

Psychedelic Science Skater Skirt (WW 24HR $50AUD / US - LIMITED $45USD) or in £23.61

This looks like sugar under a microscope! This is amazing ! very extreme for my style and not something I would wear but I love the colours on it and I can see it becoming a very interesting piece.

Between Two Thorns Shooter - LIMITED (WW $80AUD / US $64USD) or in £37.78

Now I dont own a shooter just of yet, but I do really like this one. one thing I like is that its dark but yet still girly by adding the flowers too it. which is a nice touch, I would possibly buy this after seeing instagram photos or the video Bm do showing off how the product moves before purchasing this.

Brer Rabbit Night Shorties (WW 24HR $50AUD / US - LIMITED $45USD) or in £23.61

I FREEKING LOVE THE PRINT and they must must be producing a set of leggings for this or I will be one unhappy sharkie! But on their pintrest they have said

Tartan Rainbow Toasties - 24HR (WW ONLY $80AUD) or in £37.78

I am loving the tartan print at the moment and it docent stop at these. With their rainbow coloured tartan toasies to keep you looking colourful and warm. All I am doing is thinking these are perfect for chloe!

If you like any of these Blackmilk will be releasing them on 18.08.2015 at 9am AEST or midnight for us UK sharkies !

I Am Fucking Weird | DiffCollab | ThatPaleGirl

I have recently come across this small but brilliant idea for a youtube collaboration. Its a world wide collaboration through posting your own video in response to the video on the channel!
Hold up I will get the video to better explain it!

I found this through forums on YTtalk and thought it would be something I would enjoy getting involved in ... So I did :3

I am planning on doing some of the older video prompts but for now I completed the what makes you weird video which you can find here!

After making some extremely nerve wrecking video in the park as I choose a nice day (what a dick!) and so many people were walking around ugh! people man! I finally had a window of 5 mins and made this !

For my Youtube Channel I plan to create some more Diffcollab video's as I enjoyed failing a few times at making this one. SCORE!
I plan on making a cheeky video about BM so watch out for that if your interested !

Blogging and Youtube | ThatPaleGirl

As you may know recently I have decided to re-start up my youtube channel. This is my second one as my first was rather childish, sad and rather dickish.
So a fresh start I guess kinda … Well Now anyways I have recently been trying to think of ideas for good videos, that people would enjoy and keep coming back for more content. While also subscribing to your channel and following you on other networks. (which is handwork these days aha)
Here is my most recent video so you can see how much iv grown up ... or not :3

So here is my little guide on how to blog and film good content! (these are Ideas that have been recommended, researched or tested)

First of all find what bloggers and youtubers you enjoy the most. As you may want to follow in their foot steps.
For me my favourite bloggers and youtubers at the moment are Helen Anderson who mostly does youtube about her life, her band and fashion but has daily blogs on the side.
Zoe London the quirky, brightly haired youtuber and blogs about her life, fashion, DJing and activities surrounding her London life.
Ellie James who is a cute ass Red haired youtuber who I can relate too so much! She has very down to earth videos about her life and things she finds interesting.
Leanne Woodfull is a blogger iv been aware of but never really looked into until recently, I love her style as I can relate to it with my own! She blogs about fashion, her travels and mostly her lifestyle.
So from looking at the bloggers I follow I enjoy fashion and lifestyle kind of blogs and videos that involve how to video’s, tutorials on makeup, dying hair etc…, a day in a life video, experience videos such as getting a tattoo done, outfit posts… you get the idea.

So now you have found what you enjoy watching and reading yay! I know this might sound silly but don’t forget to write about things you enjoy and use yourself. You can give a personal review of the item if it be clothing or not. I would also say don’t forget to be yourself as people enjoy personality behind the video, blog post or photo. For me I love the videos which are in the life of … as it shows a personal view of the world from that persons eyes. Down to how they edit the video, what they add and take away from it too.

With most blog posts you need photos that is going to invite your audience in to go hmm I want me some more! Using a fun, quirky and unique photo that clearly shows off what your talking about helps. If its a product you are showing off by using different colours i.e. 3 different coloured sunglasses arranged on a tropical background or showing how you would use the product in one photo would work really well too. These photos can be shared across different media platforms to build up excitement and awareness of you post.

Blogging and Youtube | Thatpalegirl

For videos it is a little harder as you need to explain what your video is about in a thumbnail. A great way to get audiences attention and get them eagerly awaiting your new video by posting the videos thumbnail a few days before you launch the video on your Facebook, Instagram, twitter page to draw in attention. A great idea is to have a day in which you upload your video each week for instance Friday is a great day, as its just before the weekend. It is also good for your audience to know when a new video would be coming up so they can check your page and youtube when you post regally.

Blogging and Youtube | Thatpalegirl

To keep people coming back its great to have good content and ideas but unless you post and upload regally then people will get confused and mishmashed about your blog and youtube and be uncertain when your going to post or blog. If you post regally and have a schedule it is friendlier towards the user. I am no saint to sticking to a schedule unfortunately as well life gets in the way aha! But man bloggers and youtubers know this to well.

I also would recommend looking into a decent layout for your blog as you don't want to have the same standard blog design that blogger gives you. Choose something that is you! Something that stands out to you and SCREAMS that me! I love the layout I have as its simple and to the point. It's not overly cluttered and in your face.

Renting Houses | That Pale Girl |

After a long time of doing that growing up thing, I have ripened enough and come to that age where I move out of my parents house. I believed it would be so much more easier than this. Little did I know … You can't live in a bouncy house (sad days!) sigh! my dream home ...

First of all I didn’t realise I had so many belongings from clothing to makeup to hair stuff to just general crap really. Theres so much of it ! aha Plus it dosent help that I have a growing mountain that is blackmilk clothing (but I can’t help that) and shoes you cannot forget the shoes! Iv been rummaging through my old stuff and selling what i don’t need or want. Im sad to see some of it go but I have to move on now.

To make enough money for the deposit (which is rent rent x30) blimey !! iv been working overtime. Working the shittist of hours to create some extra cash here and there! It tries you the fuck out ! But soon I shall be living the student life aha which is no different. Studying, partying, lectures, being social! ha!
But who knew how much money went into renting a property as you need the first months rent, the deposit plus any fees you may have to pay to the agency for referencing and looking at your credit history! You also need a good credit history too, so don’t get into dept just yet ;)!

From viewing some properties after only seeing one photo on websites such as Zoopla. Going to view these properties i had an open mind … Some of them are in the most atrocious state iv ever seen. They are dark, dingy and they smell like a cats died in them. I don’t know how people can live like that ??
Another thing we had to go through was rejection. Oh and boy did we get rejected!! As we are sharers some landlords don’t want to have to purchase a extra licence (even though they are given money to make it suitable for sharers by the council to put fire doors and alarms etc.. in) FOOLS!!

We applied for many houses filling in the application only to be rejected, which was so devastating for us all.
This one house which we all really loved and was suitable for every single one of our needs individually was our biggest let down. As we got through after putting our application through, which made us all relax and feel at ease for a while for that only to be thrown out the window by the landlord choosing another application after we paid the fees. Worst feeling ever! (they have offered to give us our money back due to it not being our fault). But phoning up and looking for a place to live leaves me feeling so awkward! I hate phone calls with people I don’t know (i think most people do).
Ill leave this on a funny note !

We went to view a few properties with this particular estate agents and the bloke they sent was in the wrong job! He shook our hand like a wet fish, he barley even was able to tell us what belonged with the house (if we even had a garage or not etc..) also at another house the tenants showed us around … the house was is such bad condition and the estate agents had been neglecting them that they just ripped into them ! black mould eww !!

Harry Potter World Tour | ThatPaleGirl

I remember when I first read harry potter and the philosopher stone. I was reading it around my lessons during break times, even just before bed time rushing to reach the end to find out what happened. From there reading the rest of the series have been an enjoyment as well. When they announced they were producing films of the books I was ecstatic! I now own the box set of the films.  What I enjoyed about the films is they were family friendly and great for adults to get stuck into, a whole new world opened up for lovers of the both the books and the films to enjoy! So a little treat to ourselves me and my other half became wizards for a day!

When we arrived it seemed to be just a massive warehouse from the outside but walking through the doors you were able to see their shop full of treats, surprises and goodies. You were taken through into a small cinema which explained how harry potter world became to be. It was great to see how the stars enjoyed their time working and living around warner brothers studio. The crew that helped put together the sets, costumes, the designs, animations and much more. Then the screen lifted up and revealed the great halls doors.

Chess Pieces from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
It was a lot smaller than I expected aha! But it was magnificent. Each house had their uniform displayed with two great long tables filled with plates and culturally from the film. At the end of the great hall was Dumbledore's robes and podium. The detail on the podium was unreal it is covered in real gold and melted wax, the thought of how much effort went into creating it amazed me.  After we excited the great hall i had a look back and was shocked the walls were  made from plater board and plater as from the inside it looked like solid rock.

Left to Right: McGonagall, Dumbledore and Snape Costumes
The first section was all about the directors. They had videos explaining their experiences with each of the films. It was really wonderful to see how they enjoyed filming their own depiction of the books.

I am a little bias here as I also ended up buying a chocolate from the shop (naughty I know) but we found the chocolate feast. This was a beautiful display of creative chocolate designs and ice cream that were unbelievably realistic. We really couldn't believe our eyes, it looked like someone had just dished this all up just for us! Next to the chocolate feast was the ice carving display from the yule ball  it was utterly beautiful. The costumes were uniquely made for the yule ball, each character had their own costume to display their character. We also viewed the wigs used for many of the characters. They were so lifelike, each strand perfectly placed to create a natural look and flow from the characters movement.

Hagrid's Hut
Each set we viewed from the Gryffindor common room, Gryffindor dormitory, Dumbledore's office made me realise things iv never noticed in the films that really create the set, such as the portrait of  professor Mcgongall in the common room or all the portraits and how the layout of Dumbledore's office is set out to match the towers of the castle. I enjoyed the detail on his memory cabinet how each bottle had been hand written to create a lifelike feel. Another set that really amazed me was the potions room. They had created magic by using the potion pots and creating motorised spoons to stir the potions inside, I loved that something so simple could really make the set. Hagrids hut and the burrow really showed me how much effort really goes into creating a realistic set. I really appreciated how much people had paid attention to detail such as the weasley's family clock where prop makers outfitted it with new pendulums, gears and hands to make them feel realistic and like someone really had lived in them.

Potions Room
One thing that I was extremely excited to view was the special effects and visual effects room as I loved how they helped create the beautiful magical world.
The magic of green screen was opened up to me as I was allowed to ride on a broom and in the Weasleys car. I was allowed to wear a robe. The brooms they had which were created for comport for the riders giving them easy movement whilst using them. Creatures effects created a small section of a dragons back which the actors could interact with. Actors and stunt doubles were filmed on a green screen soundstage giving the visual effects team complete control, where the post-productions team of digital artist combined the section of the dragons back with a computer generated creature to final film scene.

Gringotts Vault Cart
Hagrid's Motorbike

Hagrid's Motorised Head
I enjoyed viewing how the special effects team created the motorised characters. I was also shocked and surprised when I found out some of Hagrid's shots were actually a motorised machine covered in a lifelike latex movable face.

Fawkes The Pheonix

Three animatronic versions of Fawkes the phenix was created, an old mounted phenix, a new born phenix and a non mouthed adult phenix from these a computer generated version of Fawkes was created from the models of the bird.

Hungarian Horntail Dragon Model Head

My absolute hands down favourite machine they made was the dragons. Not just because I have enjoyed dragons since I was young but how they created maquette which were scanned by visual effects who then created their own computer generated versions.

Latex Goblin Faces

Their was a small paper model of the Hogwarts castle which I found well detailed amazingly they created it from sketches bringing it too life.

Then I turned a corner to which I was gobsmacked to see a intricately detailed model of the Hogwarts castle. Created by a team of 86 artists and crew members who hand sculpted and built the school of witchcraft and wizardry. To make it more realistic the artists built miniature versions of courtyards and towers inspired by Alnwick castle and Durham cathedral. The model was filmed and with added digital effects to create breathtaking realistic views of the school and the land around it.

Hogwarts from above

Hogwarts from below
I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys from the books to the films even if you have only seen one. It really is an amazing experience and I would love to go back again here is a video from my experience.  Harry Potter World Video

Something Special | ThatPaleGirl

I If you are a woman you would know my problems. If you are a busty woman you will know my pain!

I have boobs and with boobs you need a bra! Unfortunately my bras have all decided they don't even want to work. Giving up doing their job as being boulder holders !

Ann summers have a massive sale going on at the moment with another 10% off that as well ( Go grab some bolder holders while you can )
From this my I have brought myself some new amazing underwear online. I received it today and unfortunately it was too small (top) and too big ( bottom). Lucky for me I have a Ann summers shop in town , so I popped by and they were able to grab me the correct sizes!

From Whom Inspire Me | ThatPaleGirl | Helon Anderson | Zoe London | NinkComPoop | Livingdeadgirll

This is an appreciation post really not going to lie aha

Back when I went to download festival on the 13-15th June 2014 one of my favourite youtuber’s was doing a meet and greet at one of the lounges on the download site, I got to meet two Inspirational and gorgeous women.

Me, Melon, Zoe

I went to go meet Melonlady now known as Melon or Helen anderson. I had been watching Melon for around 3 years now, which is unbelievable as some youtubers you can get easily bored of them and lose interest. I still remember watching her first day in the life video, following her around. Now personally I think melon has matured and grown up alongside her youtube channel. She also skyrocketed up within the last year with help from her blog, youtube and PR and featuring in other famous bloggers and youtubers blogs and vlogs as well.

I have a similar style to melon as I enjoy coloured hair, tattoos, piercings and the alternative style, but I also enjoy fashion as well especially visiting all the high street fashion shops on Oxford Street but also the markets in Camden Town. The reason I think i can relate to Melon so much is because she is a curvy lady and she takes pride in her appearance, eats healthily, exercises and looks after herself. Which is a great role model for teenagers and young girls these days.

Melon | Helon Anderson

The other wonderful lady I meet was miss Zoe London, previously before download I will admit I knew about her, liked her style and all but never followed her on social media etc.. When I meet her she was the kindest lady ever a lot taller than expected though. I now read her blog daily, enjoying her videos daily. Her style is different to melon and I think its more mature, which I think I also need to balance out everything.  My style is also similar to zoe with the colourful hair to the way she dresses. If you haven’t checked her out I highly recommend that you do !

Zoe London

Ninkcompoop is also another inspiration to me as I can relate to Ellie with age, Melon and Zoe are great but they are also much older than me so have more experiences.
I love that she’s random and colourful, she is also very relatable as she likes little quirky things. Her videos are random , her family are very involved in the vlogs too which is wonderful as most people are camera shy. Also I can relate to her well as i have colourful hair and I used to have braces. Not that thats important. I enjoy watching her and checking out her daily life.

Nickcompoop | Ellie

A new edition to my inspiration list is Livingdeadgirll or Cori. She is a stunning punk lady who has a fabulous sense of style and creativity. She creates her own unique outfits and clothing items, which she now sells. She films herself explaining and showing viewers how to create such awesome clothing. She also is a lover of Blackmilk clothing which is pretty rad in my books as I love blackmail myself! Her hair colour changes daily but is always on point and looking beautiful too. She also includes her really Awesome looking boyfriend in her videos who has an amazing studded leather jacket ! That I am absolutely jealous of aha !

Livingdeadgirll | Cori

All of these Bloggers and Youtubers are worth checking out! I hope they inspire you as they inspire me
