Recently I have decided to become more organised, as I do have a very forgetful memory ! Ask me what happened a few weeks ago and I'm not the best at remembering, maybe it's the lack of sleep or the student lifestyle Phaha! Who knows but its lead me to this path of attempting my first Bullet Journal!
What is a bullet journal you ask ? Well, pretty much it's a diary/to do list/note book/everything else book ! You can add loads of pages in it to help you such as calendars to keep track of birthdays, future log if you're planning in advance, monthly habits to keep track of your activities or notes to plan your time!
So I went in search of a cute notebook that I could use that was practical and cute and not overly priced, as you can find some well made ones on sites like Paperchase or buy a bullet journal from the Website. I opted for a more handmade option and had a look on Etsy <3
As you can tell this book is handmade a lot of care and love has gone into making this book and all the books that are offered on the site as well!
Each book is :
- Bound by hand in our studio in Cheshire, England.
- Gorgeous geometric 300gsm quality cover. Designed by TrishYochumDesigns.
- Paper is sewn together so lies completely flat when open.
- 60 premium 100gsm Pages.
- Choose from Blank, Lined, Dotted or Grid.
- 6 Size options available.
Each book can be customisable to the lines, dots, grid or blank paper to what size you choose she offers from as small as x-small 105x65 to large 205x130. Here is a photo showing what they offer!

I have yet to use my book but I am super excited as and when I do! But I do recommend anyone who is thinking about starting up a bullet journal to do so and here are some articles to help you start up!

Heres my new video on what iv been up to recently :3
As you can probably tell my background has chanced ... DUN DUN DAHHHH aha its not a bad thing I promise. Iv just moved so I look forward to showing you my new house. (When its been cleaned aha)
So back at it again with the videos again...
I am trying to produce some more videos for myself as I enjoy it but life gets in the way some days!
If you have been hiding under a rock... well hello there!
I am ThatPaleGirl and I dabble in youtube from time to time! But if you have me on Instagram or Facebook then you know I have recently dyed my hair a strange and unusual colour for me.
I documented my struggle to reach this on my channel or you can watch the video below !
If your also interested in the finished look I would highly recommend you check out this video too !! It is also a bit of an update and you get to meet some of the family too :3
It would be nice to have you all stick around and join in my weird weird world !
SO I finally got round to filming and editing this video after a couple of delays yay!
To create this I used 30 volume creme peroxide and blue bleaching powder. I prefer the blue powder as it helps bring out brassy tones that could be in my hair, Lucky enough for me lighting my hair up from its natural tone is easy. As I dont have any brassy tones due to it being a mousey brown colour.
I have used the blue powder previously when bleaching my hair from a red tone, which helped it a lot to bring it up to a blonde!
I also have a second par of this video coming up later on so do keep your eyes peeled !
I have recently come across this small but brilliant idea for a youtube collaboration. Its a world wide collaboration through posting your own video in response to the video on the channel!
Hold up I will get the video to better explain it!
I found this through forums on YTtalk and thought it would be something I would enjoy getting involved in ... So I did :3
I am planning on doing some of the older video prompts but for now I completed the what makes you weird video which you can find here!
After making some extremely nerve wrecking video in the park as I choose a nice day (what a dick!) and so many people were walking around ugh! people man! I finally had a window of 5 mins and made this !
For my Youtube Channel I plan to create some more Diffcollab video's as I enjoyed failing a few times at making this one. SCORE!
I plan on making a cheeky video about BM so watch out for that if your interested !
As you may know recently I have decided to re-start up my youtube channel. This is my second one as my first was rather childish, sad and rather dickish.
So a fresh start I guess kinda … Well Now anyways I have recently been trying to think of ideas for good videos, that people would enjoy and keep coming back for more content. While also subscribing to your channel and following you on other networks. (which is handwork these days aha)
Here is my most recent video so you can see how much iv grown up ... or not :3
So here is my little guide on how to blog and film good content! (these are Ideas that have been recommended, researched or tested)
First of all find what bloggers and youtubers you enjoy the most. As you may want to follow in their foot steps.
For me my favourite bloggers and youtubers at the moment are Helen Anderson who mostly does youtube about her life, her band and fashion but has daily blogs on the side.
Zoe London the quirky, brightly haired youtuber and blogs about her life, fashion, DJing and activities surrounding her London life.
Ellie James who is a cute ass Red haired youtuber who I can relate too so much! She has very down to earth videos about her life and things she finds interesting.
Leanne Woodfull is a blogger iv been aware of but never really looked into until recently, I love her style as I can relate to it with my own! She blogs about fashion, her travels and mostly her lifestyle.
So from looking at the bloggers I follow I enjoy fashion and lifestyle kind of blogs and videos that involve how to video’s, tutorials on makeup, dying hair etc…, a day in a life video, experience videos such as getting a tattoo done, outfit posts… you get the idea.
So now you have found what you enjoy watching and reading yay! I know this might sound silly but don’t forget to write about things you enjoy and use yourself. You can give a personal review of the item if it be clothing or not. I would also say don’t forget to be yourself as people enjoy personality behind the video, blog post or photo. For me I love the videos which are in the life of … as it shows a personal view of the world from that persons eyes. Down to how they edit the video, what they add and take away from it too.
With most blog posts you need photos that is going to invite your audience in to go hmm I want me some more! Using a fun, quirky and unique photo that clearly shows off what your talking about helps. If its a product you are showing off by using different colours i.e. 3 different coloured sunglasses arranged on a tropical background or showing how you would use the product in one photo would work really well too. These photos can be shared across different media platforms to build up excitement and awareness of you post.
For videos it is a little harder as you need to explain what your video is about in a thumbnail. A great way to get audiences attention and get them eagerly awaiting your new video by posting the videos thumbnail a few days before you launch the video on your Facebook, Instagram, twitter page to draw in attention. A great idea is to have a day in which you upload your video each week for instance Friday is a great day, as its just before the weekend. It is also good for your audience to know when a new video would be coming up so they can check your page and youtube when you post regally.
To keep people coming back its great to have good content and ideas but unless you post and upload regally then people will get confused and mishmashed about your blog and youtube and be uncertain when your going to post or blog. If you post regally and have a schedule it is friendlier towards the user. I am no saint to sticking to a schedule unfortunately as well life gets in the way aha! But man bloggers and youtubers know this to well.
I also would recommend looking into a decent layout for your blog as you don't want to have the same standard blog design that blogger gives you. Choose something that is you! Something that stands out to you and SCREAMS that me! I love the layout I have as its simple and to the point. It's not overly cluttered and in your face.
